Aims and Scope
The Revue de Métallurgie is:
- a journal aiming at knowledge dissemination and technology transfer, at the service of the Steel Industry and Steel Users
- a monthly journal (11 issues per year) dedicated to the Steel Industry that addresses topics related to steelmaking and steel use
- a centennial journal created in 1904 by H. Le Chatelier and thus representative of the great tradition of the French Metallurgy
- a journal highly acclaimed for its technical and scientific level, with:
- peer-reviewing for all articles
- a specific distribution world-wide
- an advertising medium ideal for reaching the whole community of industrial and applied iron and steel metallurgy.

Technical and scientific articles
- 7 articles per issue according to an annual editorial programme

- original research articles dealing with technical, industrial or scientific aspects.
Ownerships and Partnerships
Publishing company
- La Revue de Métallurgie is an independent publishing company.
- It has the legal form of a joint-stock company whose main shareholders are the French Iron and Steel Federation (Fédération Française de l'Acier, FFA) and ARSA (part of the R&D organization of ArcelorMittal).
- It publishes only one journal: "Revue de Métallurgie - Cahiers d'informations techniques" and a few related publications (like conference proceedings).
Partnership in the area of technology
- The technological issues are under the technical responsability of the French Iron and Steel Technical Association (Association Technique de la Sidérurgie Française, ATS).
- ATS organizes an annual conference in Paris called "ATS International Steelmaking Days" (Journées Sidérurgiques Internationales de l'ATS) and more than 50% of the presentations made at this conference are published by La Revue de Métallurgie.
